Not a pleasant stay

Disliked: The people at the front desk were not helpful at all. I had to keep going back and forth to ask them to recheck the key card to ensure I could enter my room. It was incredibly frustrating after a long flight, especially since the staff at the front desk were laughing and chatting while I was dealing with my situation.

Disliked: The building needs a refresh, the room smelled a bit stale and as if the previous occupant was a heavy smoker. Carpet is due for a cleaning my socks and feet turned black. Sadly I found in the morning that the.refrigerator didn't work and the chargers in the wall also weren't working.

Great location near LAX

Liked: Location adjacent to LAX is perfect for overnight stays between flights. The room and bathroom are comfortable and functional. Although somewhat dated, the rooms are clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The airport shuttle is easy to use and runs every 30-40 mins. There is a filtered drinking tap near the lobby and the breakfast buffet is good with a mixture of hot food and fresh fruit. The fitness centre is available 24 hours (accessible at night via security staff) which is useful for jetlagged travelers.
Disliked: As the hotel is located near LAX there are limited food options nearby that are accessible on foot, but there is McDonalds next door and a Denny's 5 mins walk away.
