Liked: The worst service I have ever experienced. They didn't even rent my room or visit me, while I had to pay a high price, fraud and charging money for everything. Even the parking was paid and they charged me twice. This was my first and last visit to this hotel

Disliked: I don't like how a hotel won't tell you they are under renovations until the day you check in. It seems that hotels that are working with booking.com are now giving people the worst/cheapest rooms in comparison to choices others have by booking directly. This is now the 3rd time in a row where because we are booking.com customers we have received the worst accommodations offering the hotel can offer. We were told because we are booking.com customers we were going to receive the best and newly remodeled room for our stay, we received a room on a floor still under renovations instead, our floor accomodations were all broken included the ice and vending machines and our room was not remodeled. In our room, the bathroom smelled, the toilet tank was cracked, and the shower doors didn't stay closed during the showers. The outlets in the room also didn't work. When we checked out early we were told that our refund would be approved immediately, well management didn't do what they needed to do to approve the refund for an additional 3 weeks and as of this review I still haven't received my refund from booking.com.

I Live 1/2 a mile...

Liked: The spaciousness and that the room was a nice chilled temperature when I got in.
Disliked: That they don't have self check in. No water bottle was offered & I got charged a pet fee for my emotional support animal.

Overall, not a bad stay...

Liked: The property is close about 15 minutes away from the beach and 20 from downtown LA if there is no traffic, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom counter space was nice as well
Disliked: I didn’t like how when I booked it said breakfast was included but you had to pay $27 for a buffet style breakfast, and pay $17 for parking each night you stayed at the hotel, the room it’s self was clean and comfortable. The TV is a little dated which is okay, the carpeted floors on some levels were very dirty and needed to be cleaned. From our room we can see the pool and some areas were dirty.
