Disliked: Adjacent rooms had boy's junior baseball team staying, & some of the boys were mischievous, knocking on random doors. However, staff was made aware, & monitored.

A valid starting point to...
Liked: The HOLIDAY INN LONG ISLAND ISLIP is a big hotel: it belongs to a big hotel chain and it is usually a warranty: staff every day, 24 hours on 24, a big parking for free. The location of the hotel is strategical to visit the Hamptons without spending crazy sums: not exactly close to none of the Hamptons cities but also not far: you can reach Westhampton in half an hour, Southampton in an hour and so on. Also the room was wide and comfortable with more places to seat, chairs and puff; there are very useful electrical outlets on the bedside tables and very comfortable carries for suitcases. The room had a big shower box, really spectacular.
Disliked: Only one thing: we stayed for two nights and the housekeeper didn’t clean the room, after the first night. When we entered the room, late in the evening, we had a bad surprise: the man at the reception - his name was Tim - has been professional: he apologized a lot for the inconvenience and helped us as he could giving us new towels but, of course, nobody cleaned the room for that day. Of course, I would have appreciated an apologize message from the management, even if I understand that mistakes can happen. I preferred not to fill the complaint form but, of course, my evaluation review drops from excellent to good grade. Accident a part, the hotel is a good option to visit comfortable the Hamptons.

Liked: I loved the breakfast and the rooms. Everything was SO clean.
Disliked: That business center! Just 2 computers and only ONE is connected to the printer? Are you serious? There’s an immigration office right nearby and many attorneys and clients staying in the hotel need to print something! Do better with computers and printers. Please!
