Very poor

Liked: Bar staff ok, ordered a salad which was ok
Disliked: Dusty in my room, paper thin walls so very noisy. Miserable staff at reception and breakfast. Ridiculous glass fronted fridge that shone bright light into the room all night! Put a pillow in it to block it up so I could sleep! Expensive parking even as a guest.

Clean , friendly , spa...

Liked: The reception / bar restaurant area was very clean modern and the staff very attentive and friendly .
Disliked: The rooms although a little outdated were extremely clean and comfortable . USB sockets in the rooms as were in the restaurant would be a great bonus . Great spa and food was great too ! Generous portions and comfortable environment .

Ticked all the boxes for...

Liked: Location ideal for Crematorium as we had a funeral to attend there. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Dinner and breakfast both good. Bedrooms comfortable.
Disliked: Jacuzzi wasn’t operational. Swimming pool good.

The breakfast and spa facilities...

Liked: The breakfast was great and we made use of the pool. Towels were provided which was a bonus. The spa and gym looked good.
Disliked: The room needed updating. There were no USB sockets. The drink facilities had not been topped up so couldn't have a drink. The air-conditioning was very loud. £15 extra for parking was quite alot.

Need to improve the daily...

Liked: Facilities, Proximity to shopping centre.
Disliked: Struggled with Housekeeping. They did not clean and make up the room for a few nights on the stay.

Ok but not a 4...

Liked: Good location, parking right outside, modern reception areas & restaurant, decent price. Also, 20% off in the restaurant.
Disliked: The room was a bit tired. The air conditioning in the room was quite noisy but then made a constant loud dripping noise which kept me awake. Also, mixed quality of service at breakfast. Someone was quite rude when I asked them for a pint of tap water.

Very happy with our stay

Liked: Tick all our boxes that we were looking for, we went dinner bed and breakfast and we definitely got our moneys worth.Restaurant staff were all amazing and friendly didn’t get all their names (working the evenings of the 1st/2nd Aug) and breakfast staff were great too.Receptionists were welcoming on arrival and the one evening receptionist went out of her way and brought some extra hot chocolate sachets up to our room for the boys.
Disliked: Our Room needs a brighter makeover to match the rest of the hotel Parking pricey

Never again…

Liked: We didn’t get a chance to see the rest of the Hotel as we were allocated an Access room which we never wanted… The receptionist was rude and the room smelled clearly of smoke and the paper thin door to the next room wasn’t even bolted and could hear a pin drop in the next room
Disliked: The room was not as described and we was forced to leave without even an apology or chance of a refund for a room which in our opinion was unacceptable and double the price of any of the other room… Absolutely Awful
