Disappointment from start to finish...
Liked: Attitude/friendliness of Bar / Kitchen Manager, at least she tried to be helpful. Everybody else very average.
Disliked: Incompetent staff, wrong room, terrible food, all kinds of loud noise throughout the night. Eastern Europeans and Sex Workers roaming around reception and bar areas. General cleanliness of all common areas poor, empty alcohol bottles left in corridor outside our room for over 24 hours, and a fusty smell throughout. Pictures below show the premium executive room we were first offered and the bottles that lived in the hotel corridor for at least a day.

Disappointed and would not recommend
Liked: We booked this hotel for facilities, swimming pool etc, When checking in we were informed yes it’s okay to use pool and facilities. When arriving at pool we were told pool not available. I returned to reception to ask why they didn’t know but said we could use sauna and steam room. Went back to pool area and was informed we couldn’t use any facilities.
Disliked: Small rooms , lack of information and communication between staff was nonexistent.

What a disappointment!
Liked: Selection and quality of breakfast items was brilliant.
Disliked: We booked the executive double room by spending some extra to have a separate seating area for the evenings (as per room photos). Unfortunatelly we've been accomodated in a regular duoble room with a refridgerator and a coffee machine in it. According to the staff it was a premium room because of that although we did not even needed them. We went to reception next morning and receptionist agreed to our claim and promissed to "make it good" by partial refund at our check out. Unfortunatelly, on our check out day another receptionist was in place and she did not wanted to hear anything about that. She was just claiming that we've been staying in a premium room and they owe us nothing. Our choise of the hotel was also based on the facilities in it. A swimming pool was one of the deciding factors. Again, the swimming pool was not operational due to "some maintenance issue" throughout our stay. The staff have not mentioned anything about that at check-in. So we've left the hotel overpaying for the room we were staying in and not receiving the services we were entitled to. I am an IHG club member and I did not expected anything like that from one of their hotels.

Liked: Everything was great, The staff catered for me very well. Even when the restaurant just closed, The chef prepares a pizza for me. Good customer service

Great stay for what we...
Liked: Location was excellent for what we wanted.Staff really friendly and helpful, everywhere was clean and bright.We had breakfast which was good. Room was all we needed, clean.We were able to get extra real milk and teabags and chocolate bars at 2:30 in morning, we couldn’t sleep.
Disliked: We had to book to use the swimming pool which we were unaware of until we went to use the pool.Unfortunately the tv in our room wouldn’t work, we told staff on the Friday night, Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon Saturday night but it still didn’t work and we had no feedback.It didn’t spoil our stay but it could have for others.
