Liked: Location suited us, parking, comfy bed, decent bedding and towels.easy check-in/check out.
Disliked: The TV didn’t work “no signal”. Tried to contact reception using the room phone but pressing the “reception” button didn’t work so had to call the hotel using my mobile. They said they would sort the TV problem but after half an hour nothing had happened so I sorted it myself…..turned out that the aerial cable was disconnected at both ends.In the bathroom the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall, the toilet seat would not stay in the “upright” position for gentleman’s use. The main door to the room made a reassuring click when leaving the room but could just be pushed open without using the card key. To get it to lock properly you had to pull hard on the handle after the door was shut. So it was nearly quite good and the issues were room specific. We would however stay here again.

Disliked: They were really under staffed and had to wait a long time for checking in and bar was shut for periods of time due to no staff.

Disliked: Customer service could have been better. 11pm key to room would not work so went to reception where 2 people were on duty. The female was working on her computer and the man was booking a customer in. I was waiting to have my card sorted but I was totally ignored. After 5 mins I made a comment about this and was finally my key got sorted.
