Disappointing

Superb

It was a pleasant stay...

Liked: Clean, attractive, nice decor, large bright rooms with good facilities- comfortable bed and a good size bathroom.
Disliked: The temperature in the room was far too hot and the AC didn’t make things cooler. The bed was quite small - I think King sized should be standard for all double beds.

Liked: Comfortable room, helpful staff, fantastic breakfast. Large car park helpful since we had to drive. Convenient location for the city.

Liked: My 2nd stay here and will definitely be back. Handy for an M6 stay over. It was a last minute booking. Wishing breakfast was included in the price I paid.
Disliked: No complaints.

Meh - won’t be staying...

Liked: Rooms do the job and they are good value for money
Disliked: The chicken burger I had was terrible and £17 also gave me really bad stomach all night

Next time, I’d choose Premier...

Liked: Staff were friendly and the hotel is ok if you set your expectations according to price. If you pay £70-£80 with breakfat, your expectations should be set about right.
Disliked: Manage your expectations. Anything over £80 for two with breakfast is poor value. Breakfast was disappointing — cheap tinned fruit (yellow/brown peaches), cheap and unpleasant sausages, and coffee that tasted like hot water. I had to add instant. Hash browns were the only highlight. We were upgraded to a “premier” room, which was nothing special — I dread to think what the standard rooms are like. This place charges for quality it doesn’t deliver.
