Disliked: Renovations. Hot tub was luke warm

Pleasant - 3 out of 5

Petronella Mon, 9 March 2020

Liked: Location was excellent. Close to Curling venue, close to restaurants etc. Breakfast was great and the lady looking after the breakfast buffet couldn't have been better. Temporary check in area was less than user friendly.
Disliked: Hotel was under renovations and access to property was through a very busy, muddy, water logged area. Parking fee was to high. When traveling to a city like Kingston I would not expect to pay for parking to stay in a hotel. Guest parking should be complimentary.

Poor - 1 out of 5

Julie Tue, 3 March 2020

Liked: Location was very good. Staff was polite.
Disliked: Poor value for money - renovations meant no restaurant, no room service, workers and construction everywhere, detours - all for the same price.

Fair - 2.5 out of 5

Liked: Location
Disliked: Fitness facility - why would u put the gym in a pool area. It was so uncomfortable and the moisture ruins the machines

Poor - 0.5 out of 5

Way overpriced for what it...

Liked: Location was great, I have stayed there before a couple of years ago so upon another visit, I thought a great location by the water and the centre of the old town.
Disliked: The hotel was a construction site, bar and restaurant were closed, they sprung an extra $22 charge for parking. No lobby as such, had to walk through staff corridors to get to room, shorter stair access blocked with construction. Shabby old furniture in the room

Disappointing - 2.1 out of 5

Disliked: The property is under construction and Not worth the money

I would?ve expected a cheaper...

Disliked: The hotel was under construction, which we were not aware of before our stay. The hallways had plastic wrap down on the floors and the hotel seemed messy. The hotel also smelt of pot for most of our stay. The hotel was not accessible, with the parking lot quite far from the entrance.

Liked: Staff were great tried their best
Disliked: The refurbishment meant there were few facilities for instance not even fresh coffee. The shower was cold and the electricity was sometimes off during the day when the work was going on.
