Liked: It is a nice hotel with a great location in the centre of the city and by the water. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff is courteous and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful with a lot of variety and very tasty. We appreciated the check-out time of 12:00 noon, and their willingness to let us stay until 1:00 pm.
Disliked: The four o'clock check-in time was a bit late. Everybody had to wait until that time and then there was a long line up.

Disliked: I didn't like having to pay for parking. Having paid 280+ for the room for one night, an additional 30$ for parking is exorbitant.

One of our go-to places...

Liked: Excellent location downtown close to restaurants, cafes, shopping and bars. Large rooms. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Nice outdoor area on the water and super patio. Very nice staff.
Disliked: Happy hour service wasn’t as great as the last time and the menu was different- our favourite items were gone.

Disliked: Balcony was filthy. Cobwebs with flies. Bathtub looked worn and stained. Cracks on the wall behind the tub.

Great location very mediocre hotel.

Liked: Location is excellent, great views of the lake. A couple of the reception staff were very helpful.
Disliked: Hotel is quite old and tired, certainly not 4*. Several things didn’t work and we had trouble getting them fixed - eg toilet didn't flush and had to call staff twice to get fixed properly. The smell of cannabis from rooms below made using the balcony impossible on several occasions and the door needed to be kept closed. We reported problem but it kept happening. The breakfast was a very basic buffet, not good quality or choice. Restaurant staff were pushy about tips rather than providing good service that might encourage tips!
