Comfortable and relaxing

Liked: Convenient location, reliable comfort, feels safe for a lone woman traveler, lovely staff
Disliked: The bath had had a hole that had been poorly patched rather than the bath replaced so didn’t seem hygienic and the plastic grid around the jacuzzi edge was worn and discoloured. No Earl Grey teabags at breakfast.

Disliked: Bed wasn’t comfortable . Told breakfast was finishing at 10.30 on our arrival which we paid 12pounds each for. Told when we entered breakfast too that breakfast finished at 9.30 and we only had 13 minutes. Eggs cold bacon cold and fried bread cold. Very disappointed

Family stay over.

Liked: Hotel cleanliness. Swimming pool etc.Fantastic breakfast. Close to Ipswich centre.
Disliked: Unfortunately a staff member was so unhelpful. A great pity as all other saff were fantastic. A member of the bar staff ( blonde female) on the evening of 11th August.She was reluctant to serve me. I asked.. was I an inconvenience asking for a drink?Her answer was..I'm tired!!.Unbelievable..Not the customer service I expected

Liked: Staff were faultless and couldn't be more hospitable to my six year old daughter if they tried. All the staff from reception, poolside and catering were brilliant. The room had an additional aircon unit and a fan. The food was of a very high standard as well as being a great price. Plenty of parking and great for families.
Disliked: The bathroom was quite tight and a little dated, showing plenty of previous repairs but otherwise functional. Shower in communal swimming area not working

Liked: Always a good standard, clean and comfortable with nice staff and easy parking.
Disliked: We stayed on a weekend when all hotels in Ipswich were expensive so it was terrible value. Obviously that’s how it goes when things are mad busy

Liked: Very clean, good facilities. Food was very good, especially breakfast. Best aspect was the staff team. Without exception they were all brilliant (Reception, housekeeping, pool, restaurant and bar). I’ve stayed in a whole range of hotels and this team were the best I’ve ever come across. So friendly, polite, engaging and clearly understood what the hospitality industry is all about.
Disliked: Nothing
