Liked: Loved how all the staff were so nice!! Very helpful indeed. Breakfast was super! Layout was also good if a little mesmerising with corridors all looking the same. The decor - especially the art on the walls of Ipswich Town - was pleasing.
Disliked: I was cross to find that the outer doors to the hallway by my room were propped open. Anyone could have walked in or about the hallways who was not a guest, so the security of the hotel was compromised.I drink Earl Grey tea so I should have asked for it in my room really rather than expect it to be there.The changing rooms needed a spruce up. The sauna and steam were marvellous and the pool clean and just the right temperature. I like how there was a swim lane marked.I think the windows of the pool could be enhanced by a half mural/etching up halfway. This then screens it from the dining area better.

Not a happy stay

Liked: The bed the bar staff
Disliked: No batteries in remote for TV. Had damaged my phone so had no idea of time etc. Didnt find out problem with TV until next morning when I investigated. Salad that stated 'Avacado" in it had 2 pieces that were 1/2 cm.cubes!!! and were hard to find.

Liked: Staff was amazing and very helpful also location is very good, plenty of space to walk if you travel with dog
Disliked: Swimming pool looks really old and need lots of work to bring back to the best time

Stayed before and would stay...

Liked: Friendly staff, use of pool and spa facilities, ample parking, comfy bed, air conditioning, great breakfast, goodies in our room plus in the fridge
Disliked: No slippers or bathrobes as stated in room description, king size bed was not one unit but 2 singles pushed together and therefore side tables were miles away from the edge of the bed, one bedside light didn't work and the bathroom could've been bigger as us larger people struggle to get in and out even just to use the loo!

Disliked: Swimming pool was crowded when we wanted to use it

Liked: Lovely staff on arrival, and around the hotel
Disliked: Room could have been cleaner, a lot of dust. Stated on website that there would be air con but didn’t work in x2 rooms that we and my sister was staying in. Did offer a fan but room was still very warm. Bath rooms very small and was a challenge bathing my 5 month old baby

Nice stay but wouldn't want...

Liked: We had a nice stay, we all enjoyed the pool and breakfast was lovely ,very varied with lots to choose from.. staff were very nice and friendly and gave my youngest an easter trail and prize which he loved! I thought that was a really lovely gesture, very thoughtful.
Disliked: Didn't really sleep that well unfortunately, the bed was a bit uncomfortable , and room had an old musty smell , also could hear the traffic outside, so was noisy and it was very hot in the room! ( I wasn't told about the air con! )
