Liked: Its position. Very close to the A14 and a short taxi ride to the Waterfront. Room and Bathroom were both a good size , clean and comfortable. Staff were welcoming and friendly.
Disliked: The only gripe I have is we paid for our room with cash. I was then asked to provide a further £100 deposit using my card. I didn’t have an issue with that other than it took five days to be removed from pending and reflect as available again on my a bank Apparently had I paid for my room by card they would only have taken a £1 as I was a member. In our case this wasn’t a real issue as we could afford it but possibly there are many who could not.In fairness the receptionist did credit an additional 500 points to my membership to reflect the lack of clarity This is obviously company policy but in this instance not explained clearly.I reiterate in all other aspects the staff were excellent.
