Liked: the kids enjoyed the pool, hot tub, sauna.We were in town for the fishing derby at lock 21.The location was great. We were able to take our dog for a nice walk around the lake.

Liked: Our view from our room, really comfy beds. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Really nice waterfront walkway infront of hotel.
Disliked: $20 for breakfast, a continental breakfast at least should have been complimentary. Hottub was out of commission, so disappointed in that after 4 hour drive there. Also they charged $15 to place a little microwave in our room, which they should not charge for.

Liked: The restaurant offers a pricey but very delicious dinner, highly recommended! We noticed big TV screens in there when we sat down and hoped we wouldn't be deafened by sports or news, and to our delight, they put on a silent, captioned movie while we ate: Casablanca! How perfect. The staff is also great and our room was as clean as can be.
Disliked: The number one thing a hotel should offer is a good night's sleep but the beds were mushy and terrible. You know that feeling when you wake up after only an hour or two of sleep and your whole back hurts? That's what we got. (There was also a feeling of deferred maintenance in the room: Leaking tub faucet, a toilet that never seemed to stop running and dripped condensation all over the floor, water damage on the wall under the bathroom sink.)
