Good stay in a convient...

Liked: Staff were brilliant. Good breakfast and the location next to the hodpital was great as we were visiting sick relatives.
Disliked: The bedrooms were getting gruby and could do with an upgrade. The bathroom also in need of deep clean and upgtade.Didnt find any lifts, so baggage movement is a problem, especially for aged people.

Adequate but the room was...

Liked: Close to the hospital.
Disliked: The car park hedges need cutting, they obscured to view around the corner when driving out. The toilet water would not stop running in the pan. There were peanuts under the bed from a previous guest. I had to move the bed over to put my phone in the plug socket and still reach it from the bed. The room was pricey for what was in it, I have paid less for better coffee equipment and better complimentary drinks and fridge. It was quite noisy both in and outside the hotel late into the night. The QR menu system did not help with ordering food and room service, it just was not easy to navigate, so I did not bother.

Nice stay but not perfect.

Liked: Lovely reception, great staff and modern bar / restaurant area. Parking is good but there is a charge due to location. Hotel is modern and clean. Pool area is well managed and very clean. Specific pool access times for children.
Disliked: The bed was massive but sadly the bed linen was tired, thin and didnt fit the duvet cover. Just didnt feel cosy and comfy. Not nearly as good as another well known hotel chain. We had a meal in the restaurant, service was excellent but the quality of food was not. The pizza my daughter ordered was especially bad, Ive had better frozen ones. Drinks were expensive - but to be expected in a hotel.
