Overall, my stay was fair.

Liked: The staff was nice. The breakfast was good. It was clean for an older hotel.
Disliked: For an older hotel, it was a bit overpriced. The remote to the TV didn’t work. The AC unit didn’t cool properly and the hallways were too dim.

Perfect hotel.

Liked: The location of this hotel is perfect if you are planning to visit East Carolina University. It is a quick drive away from campus. My family and I picked up sandwiches and snacks from the local grocery store and enjoyed some down time at the pool. It was perfect. The staff, especially the restaurant staff, is so sweet. They decorated the lobby with ECU colors for graduation this past spring, and it added to the joy and festiviities of the weekend. My daughter is graduated now, so I don't have any reason to go stay here anymore, but it's where I stayed every moms' weekend, parents' weekend, and now, graduation. A wonderful place!
Disliked: Nothing at all.
