Overall, great experience.
Liked: Great beds and pillows; very clean; very nice staff; loved the welcome call from the front desk and located near everything. Very happy!
Disliked: No refrigerator in room and light switch for bathroom was just inside the main room door, not inside bathroom.

We went to the Mega 80's show at the Intersection and this was a perfect place to stay - reasonably priced room and close to downtown.
Liked: Nice hotel; great service; very close to downtown.

Good
Liked: The hotel's location is truly a major asset. Being situated downtown meant that numerous venues, restaurants, and attractions were within easy reach. Whether I was heading to a conference at the DeVos Place Convention Center, catching a show at Van Andel Arena, or exploring the vibrant nightlife and dining scene, everything felt remarkably accessible. I especially appreciated being able to walk to several key spots, saving time and transportation costs. For those looking to immerse themselves in the heart of Grand Rapids, this hotel's location is hard to beat.Adding to the convenience was the hotel's excellent shuttle service.
Disliked: y recent stay at the Holiday Inn downtown Grand Rapids IHG had both notable positives and concerning negatives. On the plus side, the hotel boasts a fantastic central location. Numerous venues, restaurants, and attractions were within easy reach, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Grand Rapids. Whether I was heading to a conference at the DeVos Place Convention Center or enjoying the downtown scene, everything felt remarkably accessible. The incredibly convenient shuttle service was another major highlight. It provided a stress-free way to travel to and from various points of interest, especially when walking wasn't ideal. The drivers were courteous, and the service significantly enhanced my ability to navigate the city. However, there were aspects of my stay that were quite disappointing. Firstly, the late afternoon check-in was inconvenient, and the hotel did not accommodate early arrivals. This was frustrating, especially after traveling, as it meant a significant wait before I could access my room.More concerning was an incident that occurred later in the day. To have maintenance walk into my room unexpectedly at 5:45 in the evening was completely unacceptable. Their explanation that they needed to charge a light bulb did little to alleviate the feeling of intrusion and lack of privacy. This level of unprofessionalism is a significant issue for a hotel, as it compromises guest security and comfort. While the central location and shuttle service were definite advantages, the late check-in policy and, more importantly, the unannounced entry into my room by maintenance were serious drawbacks that significantly impacted my overall experience. Potential guests should be aware of these issues when considering a stay at this hotel.

Great location but they need...
Liked: The location was great. We needed to go to the Devos Center and were able to take the shuttle or walk. The resteraunt was amazing!
Disliked: One roll of toilet paper didn't last the two nights we stayed. We didn't have any bags in the trash can and with a baby we needed something. For breakfast it was $10 per person and needed a reservation. We had wrestling both days and my kids had to eat fast food instead.

Decent
Liked: Rooms very small, bathroom super small, odd set up for light switches and sink Rooms very dark. Comfy bed, no complimentary coffee besides coffee maker in the room which I don’t trust the cleanliness of. Seen many disgusting ones in my time.
