Holiday Inn Fort Wayne - IPFW & Coliseum By IHG

My friends and I stayed after a concert at Piere's and would definitely stay again. It's nothing super fancy, but the room was very clean and the staff was friendly. We all LOVED the pillows!

Liked: Comfortable beds.
Disliked: Slow elevators.

Disappointing

Disliked: Pool was being renovated so unable to swim. Does not have free breakfast anymore, charging 12 dollars for breakfast “buffet” which is the same as the normal continental breakfast of just like cereal and oatmeal. Bed was horribly hard and carpet outdated and torn.

Disliked: You have to pay for breakfast it's not free continental like the website says, its the same breakfast crap everyone else serves for free! and I'm fighting with them to get my security deposit back after 2 days and them saying I would receive it as soon as I checked out at 6am

Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: The rooms were sub-par. The room carpet was stained. The hallway carpet was bunched up. One elevator did not work. The bar/restaurant was not in operation for 4 of the nights we were there. We had to ask for coffee and towels every day. The one time the staff was supposed to clean our room, they did not bring anything towels or coffee. The bed was very old and soft. The entire hotel looked tired and worn. Very disappointed in our experience.

Liked: Location and that it had a pool and hot tub but they were dirty
Disliked: There was poop on the back of the toilet seat when we arrived and the sheets smelled like alcohol and throw up. During our stay air freshener was sprayed so thick we could taste it and it gave us a headache

Little pricey but clean

Liked: Booked on line for a king room. Confirmation given on reservation. Got there and the clerk couldn’t find any king rooms available but found alternate reservation. The hair dryer would not work. I tried 10 different ways to Sunday but it just wouldn’t. Not really happy that an ice machine wasn’t on my floor and a pop machine either. But slept good!! Fairly quiet even though the hotel was packed with teenagers in town for basketball competitions and cheer leaders
