Holiday Inn Express Winston-Salem Downtown West By IHG

Hotel was very convenient to great restaurants and RJ Auditorium. Breakfast was great; hotel was older but clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Liked: Good stay.

Beds were big and comfortable; close to many amenities; parking lot had good lighting,. The weekend we stayed, there was a big crowd for breakfast - staff offered to let us eat in another room. Coffee strong and always available.

Liked: That fact that the staff worked with me to extend my stay, when the Booking.com rep did NOT even try to reach the hotel to help me. I will never use Booking.com again. It was a medical necessity that we stay an extra day. I contacted you well ahead of time.
Disliked: Beds could be softer

Excellent place to stay if...

Liked: Breakfast was adequate except pancake maker wasn't working. Everything tasty enough though . Location was perfect since i had surgery and was comfortable in room after returning from surgery. Liked the lighting in the room and the decor. Not dull and boring. Uplifting.Coffee maker was over the top and even beat Starbucks in my opinion.
Disliked: Asked to be on top floor and they put os on first floor. Only give you one bottle of water each and no other place to get water except in bathroom. Should have a water dispenser somewhere in the lobby. Something about having to get your drinking water out of the bathroom sink is not appealing.
