Holiday Inn Express Winston-Salem By IHG

Clean spacious rooms. Nice lobby and facilities. Very nice pool area. Plenty of eating nearby the location. Overall very nice and affordable.

Disliked: The beds were to tall, I had to use a cooler to get on the bed. Bed was comfy .

Liked: Convenient for our stop to the beach. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great! Love the large toiletries mounted in the bathroom!
Disliked: The hallway was warm but didn’t affect our room.

Don't Stay at this hotel

Liked: The staff was friendly.
Disliked: Water soaked carpet, one bed was broken, asked for one King bed, but was told I couldn't change due to booking on Bookings.com Mold in bathroom, no bath mats available, lamp on desk bulb was out, hotel is next to interstate I-40 sound from trucks kept us awake both nights. Haven't had contact from Management at the hotel although I reported problems with the room. Not up to IHG hotel standards which is my preferred hotel chain. I like using Bookings.com, but I am now hesitant due to disappointment from this stay and treated like a second class guest.
