Holiday Inn Express Winnipeg Airport - Polo Park By IHG

For as busy the hotel was, you did not know it was that busy. Everyone that stayed there was very respectful of others and kept the noise levels down. You did not hear anyone after 10:00 pm. Before you hear the usual noise. Plus on the Saturday of our stay the hot tub stopped working. It just started to drain on it's own. But once they were told about the issue they had the hot tub fixed within an hour. Plus the person who I told about the issue, he came and told me that is was fixed and if I wanted to use the hot tub.

Liked: The place was very clean and the rooms were clean and nicely remodeled.
Disliked: The bath tubs need a bath mat in them as the tub was very slippery. The front entrance was blocked off and there were no signs to show where you were to enter. It was not until you had to park off to the side and you walked in the front, that you were told you had to use the back as the entrance.

Decent value but wouldn’t stay...

Liked: Decent rooms. Location is good if you are wanting something near the airport but not great for anything else. Some of the staff are very friendly.
Disliked: Sketchy people around. Sketchy neighbourhood. Very loud guests in other rooms at all hours and no sound proofing. Some of the staff were not the easiest to speak to.

Liked: Location was acceptable
Disliked: It was a last minute booking due to air travel issues. I would not otherwise have chosen this location. The biggest issues was that there were so many children running in the corridors that it was extremely disruptive and uncomfortable. I would normally not chose facilities that welcome such clientele. And the price was exorbitant for what I received.
