Liked: The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast had lots of variety.
Disliked: The doors to the rooms make a loud noise when they close. Even when trying to close the door softly, they're loud and other guests were coming and going from their rooms all through the night. I was woken 3 or 4 times by this. Also, the roller shade wasn't long enough to cover the whole window so we weren't able to darken the room.

Very good value for money
Liked: The location of the hotel is very convenient. The room itself is perfectly clean and it has all required amenities (the hotel can even give you a toothbrush / paste if you've forgotten yours). We couldn't try the breakfast :(
Disliked: Parking on site is quite limited. If there's no spot (like in our case) you're sent to a public parking 5 mins away. Not a big issue, but slightly inconvenient for a cold and windy day.

Good value for price
Liked: Rooms are beautiful and look exactly like the pictures. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were very clean. The location was incredible for anyone looking to go to Detroit for a sporting event
Disliked: The other guests on our floor were very rowdy and kept us up. The breakfast was not very good and it was a very small space for the amount of people that were there.

There was no problem with...
Liked: The staff and quality of the room were exceptional. It smelled pleasantly of citrus in the room, and the front desk staff were even willing to exchange currency for me. They have a great breakfast available, and will call anyone business related you need if you don't have international phone service.
Disliked: Crossing the border was difficult, because my cellphone didn't work internationally and I paid over $200 in cab/uber fare. Because my phone didn't work, I was unable to cross the boarder with uber (going to Canada) or contact the required Canadian taxi (going to the states.) I was unable to use my debit card in Canada, so I was forced to carry a large sum of money both American and Canadian. If I had been able to use uber the entire time, or call Moe, the extremely kind Canadian taxi driver, from anywhere, the trip would have been expensive, but lovely. I will probably just rent a car next time.
