Liked: Very clean room, recently refurbished. Comfortable. Really nice staff at the front desk.
Disliked: Breakfast was adequate.

Liked: Comfortable big beds and spacious rooms. Clean.
Disliked: Breakfast was not great. Coffee wasn’t nice. Key kept not working so had to keep getting it reset.

Solid hotel if you're visiting...

Liked: Rooms were clean and comfortable (It looks like they just upgraded and so new desks, beds, TVs). Shower pressure was great. I had no issues with the room. It comes with a free breakfast which is nice (but taste is very average). Staff was quite good (a big thumbs up to them). They also cater to middle school DC trips but they set up a separate breakfast room for them so you're not overrun by middle schoolers. I've stayed in the other hotels in Springfield and this is the best one.
Disliked: Hotel is at a major highway intersection so you can hear the trucks in the morning during rush hour (it didn't affect me as I get up early anyway). Also the A/C is right next to the desk and it's a bit hard to work when you have the air blowing on you.

Liked: Staff friendly and rooms and hotel renovated and nice.
Disliked: Location is ok, lots of traffic going into downtown, no express lanes.No paper plates for frozen pizza to cook in microwave.

Liked: The hotel which was just remodeled was clean, the staff friendly and the complimentary breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: Check in was not good. I gave my name, reservation number, even showed them my emails.Two front desk people were unable to locate my reservation. Could it possibly be under any other name, absolutely not. All of my email confirmations are addressed to me Diane. They then needed my credit card and found it with three three as the name. Seems this was a system issue and an inconvenience for me.
