A work in progress

Liked: Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was cleaned 3 of the 4 nights we were there which was better than most places we've stayed at since Covid. Breakfast was good, and the breakfast area was recently remodeled and enlarged which meant a much nicer breakfast experience. Location is also good, with many stores nearby. Parking also is adequate.
Disliked: As is typical of our stay there in previous years, the elevator is a problem. I am mobility impaired, so using the stairwell can be difficult at best. There are 2 elevators on the premises, and when we arrived only one was working. It was fixed in short order, but on the 2nd morning we were there, both elevators were out of order. This meant that I had to struggle to climb down 5 flights of stairs. Not good. There is no service elevator, and no other way to exit the building other than the stairs. Because of this issue, I didn't give the property a higher score. I will say that the hotel is a work in progress, and if the elevator issues can be resolved it will go a long way towards enhancing the overall experience.
