Nice, but extraordinarily overpriced

Disliked: I know it’s how things are these days, but really it was too expensive for what I would consider a basic hotel room. Honestly, it’s really just $100 a night room, so the fact that it cost $400 is really just ridiculous. I know it’s supply and demand, location, things like that. But it really is insane that a basic room at La Quinta inn is $400.

Liked: Staff was very friendly. Everything looked relatively clean. Comfortable beds and air conditioning. Breakfast staff was very accommodating to getting needed food that had run out, but they were in constant motion keeping everything stocked.
Disliked: Area for breakfast was too small during busy times. Not enough tables, people running into each other while trying to get food. Limited availability of food. Hotel had a smell as did the room and mold was visible in the bathroom, even though the bathroom was spotless and had a fan. I am extremely sensitive to smells, so others may not notice it as musch. Paid way more than I normally would for such a property, but booked late, so options were limited.
