The hotel was clean and very friendly the front desk, housekeeping was a 10 all round. We come to Tyler once a year on business - I will make it a point to book my hotel with Holiday Inn. I had the best weekend and will be back. Great place to spend the weekend - very clean, nice people, close to everything.

Liked: The front desk was welcoming and so nice. I loved how they had warm cookies in the afternoons in the lobby. That was a great treat coming back from running errands.
Disliked: The bed was the only thing I would say was bad. The bed was very high and you had to almost run and jump to get in it.

Love the stay looking forward...

Disliked: Bathroom tub turning on and off the water was a problem

Would definitely recommend for future...

Liked: The breakfast was excellent, the eggs were delicious and the other food were freshly made. Love it all. Dining was not overcrowded and staffs were respectful of our property during cleaning.
Disliked: There should be at least drinkable water machine beside the ice_machine for families.

Superb

Great staff, service and comfortable...

Liked: Great continental breakfast and location was perfect for my stay as my husband was in the hospital and I needed to be close and I only stay at Holiday In Express if I can help it. Staff was pleasant and helpful, rooms nice and clean, beds are so comfy.

Exceptional

Okay, but not as good...

Liked: The breakfast was good and the s tiff were super friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The hotel was a bit shabby and the doors to the rooms were really hard to open and close. The room felt damp. The bathroom fan made a really loud sound.It wasn’t up to the holiday inn express standards we were used to.

Clean comfy hotel with great...

Liked: The staff was amazing. Hotel s was clean. Beds were comfortable. Very quiet. Kids loved the pool. Heat selection of hot breakfast. Cons… one elevator was broken when we were there and only one ice machine was working. 3 ice machines wouldn’t dispense ice.
Disliked: Fix ice machines and second elevator

Liked: Nice indoor pool
Disliked: The TV didn’t work or the phone in the room. By the time we noticed it was late and didn’t want to call the front office and have someone come to our room so late. And since the phone was not working we would have to of walked down to tell them

Liked: I liked how kind the lady who checked me in was.
Disliked: The whole rooms humidity was so bad, everything in the room was damp and made it seem gross and I know they most likely have mold because of it.

Very Unsatisfactory Stay

Liked: The location was convenient to my work location. There were several places available to eat nearby. The size of the room was good.
Disliked: I booked based on the room description. It was advertised with a spa tub and it was a more expensive room. After a long week, I needed that relaxation. The tub did not work and it had multiple chips in the finish. I was worried about the unfinished surface being clean, so I did not use it. The couch in the living area was gross and tattered. I felt the need to get a sheet to put over it before I sat on it. When I reported the issues, I was told that "they know about them", but it is my fault because I booked the room on Booking.com! I stayed in a sister hotel the next night and was informed that this hotel is just "hanging on until a new one is finished across the street."
