Nice hotel in great location...

Liked: Great location to explore the city and the other river side (hiking trails). Nice rooms, friendly staff, breakfast included. Decent WiFi.
Disliked: Thin walls, you can hear your neighbors quite well. Only limited parking space available (but affordable)

Superb

Liked: I liked the room, it was new, nice and clean. There was good amount of space for 2 people and good amount of light installed in the room and coming from the window.
Disliked: You can never know at what point the water in the shower will be cold or hot no matter how you set the temperature. Floors in the bathroom are cold.

Modern hotel with ups and...

Liked: Modern hotel, a little generic but the rooms are nicely decorated. They offered two connecting rooms for parents + kids, which is a nice option. Easy to reach and parking space is available in front of the hotel (charged separately).
Disliked: Our front-side room was facing the sun the entire day and became too hot to sleep in. The airconditiong wasn't working (April) and with the window tilted there was too much traffic noise. The breakfast buffet was fairly basic (only scrambled eggs, but other than that not a single hot option). The location is somewhat out of the city centre (25-30 minute walk to restaurants) and public transport isn't useful.

A good stay overshadowed by...

Liked: The rooms are comfortable, clean, and equipped with the basic but necessary amenities. The location, although not in the city centre, is relatively good.
Disliked: Among the staff there were some kind and polite people, but then there were others who were really unpleasant and rude to us. The receptionist on the day of our arrival, as soon as she realised we were foreigners, treated us very poorly. She gave us no information about the hotel or where to find our room (we had to wander through several corridors to figure it out), and when we asked her for help, she began speaking in German even though we had already told her that we didn’t speak it and needed the information in English. A similar situation happened with the cleaning staff. There were five minutes left before check-out when a cleaning lady knocked on the door. She started talking to us in German, and we told her that unfortunately we couldn’t understand her, to which she replied, “only German,” in a very angry and offended tone.

Liked: The check-in went fast, the breakfast was good with a lot of variety. The room was very clean
Disliked: The airconditioning did not seem to work so the room was really hot

Exceptional

Liked: Very nice walk to the oldtown along Mosel river. Ask hotelstaff how to reach the river the best way. Clean, big room, good breakfast. Helpful staff.

Very good
