The hotel was nice and the room was clean, however, I was unable to obtain an extra pillow and I'm pregnant and needed one. The bed was rock hard and we couldn't sleep. There was a pancake maker at breakfast that didn't even work and the bagels were hard as rocks.

Disliked: Greetings. We had a paid reservation through booking.com at Holiday Inn Express North Toledo. We found the facility to be well below the standard we expected from a Holiday Inn Express. Terrible smell, grimy carpet, mold on corners of tub, bugs on window sill, very dirty window, and substandard seating in the room. The front desk host kindly switched rooms for us, and yet the substandard condition was the same. I contacted booking.com, and they have initiated a refund via communication with the facility. We did not stay at the facility, and cancelled our stay. I ask that the $50 incidental fee will be refunded, as well as the one night cost that the front desk said could not be refunded. Disliked: Was a fire detector peeping all night next door. There were spiders all over the room. The air kept changing to heat. The floors were not clean. Staff refused to allow to change rooms

Disliked: The room had a rather odd smell to it. I had to go out and purchase an air freshener, which I left intentionally.

Decent not the best

Liked: The bed was very comfortable. Some of the staff were nice. The room was decent. The staff allowed us to have a late check out. The location is right by truck stop/gas station.
Disliked: The mechanic/repair sounds. The refrigerator was noisy, and the flooring in the building was not very clean. We were placed in a room next to the hvac/mechanical, and it was very noisy. We asked to move to a different room.
