Lift's weren't working, we had...

Disliked: Lift's weren't working for long and we had to use stairs for 4 floors, along with luggage and kids, this had caused significant back problems to my spouse.

Liked: Convenient location for station but in a very rundown area Great breakfast included , good choice with awful coffee !Nice dining areaPaper Bags for on the go brekkie a great idea , just needs take away cups Friendly lady running breakfast , dealing with malfunctioning coffee and juice machines with a smile and apology -well done!
Disliked: No lifts in working order , paid before rather than at hotel after train cancellations so I could rest , received email advising of lifts not working after I got to hotel and reception told me , 3rd floor up the fire escape which was actually 6 floors worth of double flights Wouldn’t walk the area after dark , hotel secure but area very rundown and off putting Not an area I would return to by choiceBathroom needs a spruce up Dining area soft furnishings need attention , food stains and debris

Liked: Breakfast was the only good thing but not enough like we get in other hotels, it's value for money stay. One thing i really went through majorly and I have mentioned this to the receptionist while checking out that I have some medical issues and the night we checked in we have luggage i had a family of 4 and the receptionist told me that you are staying on 6th floor, i said ok but he said lift is not working, that is a bit of surprise as I cannot walk upstairs and for 2 nights this was the major nightmare for me, going up and coming down, that was very painful, the receptionist was very helpful (Burt if i correctly remember his name) he helped my wife and daughter and took everything to 6th floor (thank you) but checking out become nightmare while bringing stuff down.
Disliked: First Car park then majorly for me Lift which was not working, my knees and thighs are still in painI don't wanted to rate this hotel low as everything was good, location it was in city center, breakfast not very good but it was good, staff specially the person who checked us in was tremendously helpful, car park was as an issue.
