Liked: The hotel stay was wonderful, friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast was very tasty.
Disliked: The only complaints I have, is that the pool could have been warmer and there was a funky smell in my room when the ac unit turned on.

IT served it's purpose, but...

Liked: The hotel was perfectly located for our plans. We were only 10 minutes from the zoo and 3 minutes from FunPlex so location was great.There were not many things to go to other than that in the area.
Disliked: The pool and hot tub were not operational at the time of our visit. My husband loved the beds, but the rest of us felt like we were sleeping on concrete. You could hear everything going on around your hotel room and I feel sorry for anyone who was sleeping when I had to flush the toilet.

Liked: PM male desk clerk was amazing. He was dealing with a complaint and handling it like a champ. If you like a firm bed, you're in luck. Finally, a hotel with full-size pillows!!! The room was huge and clean. Quality bathroom toiletries and make-up wipes. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. I noticed the pancake maker was out of order.
Disliked: I would check here before staying here to see if the hot tub is working. That is the only reason I booked here. I was not told it was out of order upon check-in. I did not see the sign on the door either because other people were entering ahead of us. You need to put a sign on the timer and the hot tub rules sign. You may not want to stay here if there is an event next for at the arena. There was a couple asking to be moved because there were kids running around in the room above them. Our room was quiet. Breakfast tables were dirty. The pool area was very slippery.

Due to the problems encountered...

Liked: The location is good. That is the reason we picked the location. We have stayed there in the past. The front desk clerk was nice. I believe his name was Gabe?? The room was comfortable on we finally got a clean one.,
Disliked: The management was rude and so were some of the cleaning staff. Most didn't speak English, so it was hard to communicate with them. We arrived at 3:30 and no double rooms were ready for us to check in. Found that odd since check in is at 3:00. When the clerk thought he had a room, we went with our cart full of luggage to the room and it had not been cleaned. There was a housekeeper shampooing the carpet in the elevator and she it stalled so we could not get up and down. I knocked on the elevator door and called out so she could hear me, and another housekeeper came around the corner and yelled at me an shook her finger at me, and walked off. When I was finally able to get downstairs, the desk clerk went to check another room on a different floor. We went back up to that room with all of our stuff and the door key wouldn't work in the door. I had to go back down to the front desk again. This time the manager was there, and when I voiced my frustration, all she said was "If she doesn't like it here, just give her a refund!" Didn't ask what was wrong, or offer any kind of sympathy for the situation. When I asked if there was something she could do, all she told me was since I reserved through Booking.com, I would have to call them. I told her we had to stay there, we booked weeks ago. The nice front desk clerk, finally found us a clean room, so back up the elevator we had to go. The elevator floor was soapy and wet from the shampooing, and my friend slipped on water on the floor . Luckily she did not fall down! This whole ordeal lasted over and hour and made us late to our reservation.
