Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Murrieta

Bad experience , do not...

Liked: The hotel room itself was well planned and spacious.
Disliked: The property itself was not clean. Our bathroom was dirty. The usual holiday inn express breakfast was limited, with a staff person who hid and did not fill up items. No cream for coffee, no yogurt or eggs except the powdered kind and just sad. We had a three night stay and no housekeeping was provided even though we asked and was promised housekeeping. So we emptied our own garbage, had to seek out towels and of course make our bed. While the staff was nice, they consistently lied to us. I asked if the pool was heated, it was not. The pool area was dirty, the hot tub was disgusting. When we complained to management, they promised us 25000 IHG points which never came to my account. I had to contact corporate to get the points. They also told me the points do not expire and they expire after a year. This property needs new management, cleaning and breakfast staff.

Liked: It was spotless! The room were very nice and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great! And it was kept hot. We would stay here again.
Disliked: Nothing

Disliked: The beds were so uncomfortable. We got such a horrible back pain.
