Holiday Inn Express & Suites Milwaukee NW - Park Place By IHG

Stayed at the hotel for Summerfest. Nice staff, room was nice with an extra pull out bed. Kids liked the pool, and it stayed open later which was nice. Free breakfast was good and there was room to sit. It was farther than I thought from the festival but easy ride. I would stay here again.

Disliked: The floor we were on smelled absolutely disgusting & the bathroom was so dirty that we wore shoes the entire time we were in the hotel, left our shoes at the bedside. The check in lady was also a snippy then pleasant like I had no idea if she was annoyed with me or just sarcastic or what.

Disliked: Our suite had multiple issues — water leaking from the ceiling onto the bed, a dirty pull-out couch, dirty shower, a bedroom door that wouldn’t close, and lights that dimmed unexpectedly. No other room was available, so we had to sleep on the floor. I was told I’d receive a full refund but was later only offered $60. Please book somewhere else!

Liked: Room was spacious. Beds were comfortable. There was a good variety for breakfast. Room itself and hotel lobby area were clean and presentable.
Disliked: The shower in the bathroom was dirty and had a bug crawling in it. The pool area needs updating. It was dirty, particularly the bathrooms, and the ladder in the pool was detached from the side of the pool. There were also no extra sheets, pillows, or blanket for the pull out couch. I called to ask at the front desk, and they said they would bring some to the room. After a long wait, my husband eventually had to get them himself.
