Would LOVE to come back!

Liked: I never leave reviews for anything but I thought from the first 15 minutes we arrived I'd leave one for our stay. Mainly because the front desk staff was so incredibly friendly. The new owner checked us in, and checked our room personally. He was quick with the process which was awesome since we were traveling with children, one being an autistic 4 year old and having a hard time waiting after a 9 hour car ride there. There were even cookies offered in the front lobby. The bed size in the room seemed like an upgrade. Definitely bigger than the Queen we reserved which my 6'4 husband appreciated not having his feet hang off the end. The hotel was easy to navigate, extreamly clean. And not pinsol smelling clean, yuck. But actually clean! The view of the ocean from our room was a wonderful surprise that we all really enjoyed. And the location was perfect. Walking distance to the beach and near all the strip of stores. Breakfast wasn't bad although was very very crowded but that's a layout error, nothing against staff. I do wish it was open until 1030am instead of 930am as my family had a hard time getting there before it closed and that was one of the main reasons we booked here.. one less meal to have to worry about right. The pool/hot tub was great and we all really enjoyed the time there as well. A weird bonus for me was the toilet and bathtub were both very comfortable for a smaller hotel. The tilt back in the bathtub made it very comfortable to relax in even though it is a little shallow. The room had everything we needed and a few extra surprise amenities. All in all we would love to come back, I wish we booked 1 more night but 2 nights was good too. Thank you for your hospitality.
Disliked: Everything was pretty great, if anything I would just suggest an ice machine on the 2nd floor as well. A 24 hour pool or maybe atleast 2am so adults can get in without all the littles also there. We tried to go down at 11pm but it was even more crowded than when we were down earlier with the whole family. Extended breakfast hours would be exceptional and make it just a little more convenient as we dont like to have to get up early and rush on our vacation time. The breakfast staff member was AMAZING though. I actually felt bad because there was one gentleman running the whole show and I actually felt bad for him. Maybe a few staff members assigned would be nice for him to have the help. I dont think I saw him stop running back and forth for 1 second even. Poor guy. But he kept everything very stocked and was prompt on replacing each menu item as it ran out. If the tubs were a little bigger/deeper id give this place 110% .

Liked: Room was great, able to get an extra pillow and blanket since the weather was colder than expected while visiting.
Disliked: weekend breakfast crew was a little short of attention and offerings.
