Clean hotel but beds are...

Liked: Breakfast was great. Huge selection of things for everyone.
Disliked: It took over 15 minutes for us to check in. There was no bell to alert staff we were there waiting so we had to wait for them to come out of the back. My husband and I both woke up very sore from sleeping in the bed. Holiday Inn is usually our go to for hotels but might need to reconsider that in the future with how sore we woke up. Housekeeping also tried to come in a little after 7 am but luckily I had utilized the locks so the door wouldn’t open all the way. Unfortunately the walls are thin enough we heard them complain that we were still there even though check out wasn’t until 11. My husband took the kids and bags out ahead of me so I could check out and head to my six year old daughters cheer competition. Some staff made some rude and derogatory comments about her makeup and cheer outfit. Pretty disheartened by the way a child was spoken about. The rest I probably would have let go as it was more annoying than anything but talking about a child is never okay.

Disliked: The bathtub squeaked as I was taking a shower. I only weigh 130 lbs. It felt as if it would collapse. The nightstand drawer was broke and would not stay shut. There was a light bulb burned out by the bed. The bathroom door was filthy and stained where people opened and closed the door. A few days prior I stayed at another Holiday Inn Express in Anderson, SC and it was exceptional. And much cheaper for my stay. I don't think I would stay at the Lexington Hotel again.

Disliked: Second floor stunk at elevator and our room was at elevator. Heard elevator sounds all night too Also wanted a first floor room

Convenient and satisfying.

Disliked: I couldn’t book this room w/ my IHG app, so I went thru booking.com. Doing so denied me my points. Makes me frustrated… not the managers fault.
