Overall stay was fair, good...

Liked: The location was definitely one of the best features of this hotel. Houston is known for car break ins, so the fact the hotel offers a secure parking garage gave me a great peace of mind. The surrounding neighborhoods was absolutely stunning.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the quality of the hotel didn’t live up to the price or the Holiday Inn name. The building seemed run down, with visible cracks in the foundation, especially in the bathroom area. The TV in the room was also unusually small and felt outdated. Overall, I expected a much higher standard from a Holiday Inn, and it just didn’t deliver.

Disliked: The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.1. My card was charged 5 times in a span of 2 1/2 days totaling in over $1500.2. When I went to speak with management they assumed that I was incompetent and tried to break down how the refund processes work, trying to take me in a loop to confuse me in who was to blame.3. The GM came to speak to me with half the information. I showed him all the information (proof of charges) and was told I was wrong. He then went back to his office and came back after a few minutes and tried to apologize after seeing all of the repeated charges on my card from their system.This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The management is incompetent and rude. Please do not stay here.

Liked: Location and free parking were about the only things I liked.
Disliked: The rooms were not cleaned properly before or during our stay. The AC was so loud we were unable to sleep. Beds were lumpy and not made well. Carpet floors were so dirty they made our socks black. Found several hairs belonging to other people in shower.

Disliked: We had to wait at the counter in the morning to buy a coke and no one showed. My son's coffee is his coke, so he took a coke and paid for it after our breakfast which was cold AND after hunting down an employee. It's a good thing that he is honest. The air conditioner in our room was so loud, it kept us awake all night. I tried to make a cup of coffee in our room and there was no pitcher to pour the water into the carafe. Overall, it was a disappointing stay.
