Staff were exceptional, location was...

Liked: Very kind staff, efficient check-in, good price.
Disliked: Room was a bit cramped for a family of five, breakfast was ok.

Liked: The property was nice, clean (finally) and the front desk ladies were friendly.
Disliked: I was very unhappy with the check in process. We showed up at 2:40pm to see if the room was ready and they couldn't find my reservation even though they called me at 7:38am that morning to get my payment even though i said i wanted to pay at the property when I booked. They said no come back closer to 3 which is check in time, I said fine no problem. We then came back at 3:15pm and the front desk said it would be another 30 minutes. My family of 4 sat in the lobby for at least another 30 minutes before we asked if we could change and have the pool code until our room was ready. We changed in the bathroom, left all of our bags with the front desk and asked them to call me when the room was ready. At 5:30pm...2 1/2 hours after check in, i walked my wet self back around the building (mind you, I didn't have a room key to enter the side door) to check on the room since I had dinner reservations at 7pm on the strip and the ladies were just chatting behind the desk. I asked if the room was ready and she said "oh yea, they just finished it" grabbed my paper with my phone number on it from the file and finally checked me in. I know it wasn't their fault but I asked if the could compensate me for the extremely ridiculous wait and they flat out told me no they don't have that kind of authority. Just not a very good experience.
