Very good
Liked: Friendly staff. Nice breakfast area. Large comfy room.
Disliked: My room was on first floor near breakfast room and there was a lot of noise from the hall and lobby area.

A place that could be...
Liked: The check-in was easy and the staff were very kind. The room was large, bed comfortable.
Disliked: The bathroom was not clean. If anyone cleaned the toilet or shower it didn't show. Hair all over the shower and sink. The toilet looked as if someone had just used it. I should not have to clean a hotel room after housekeeping. Our room had two queen beds, apparently nobody pays attention to the beds when cleaning. The bed we didn't sleep on had candy lined up across the headboard.Absolutely no water pressure for the shower, it was horrible getting a shower with a literal dribble of water. The air-conditioning worked at a low temperature (67) but not at a higher and made a horrible noise. We are IHG members and this is not what I would expect from a Holiday Inn. Very disappointed

Okay, but not top notch
Liked: The staff seem to be very friendly. Even though they were not very outgoing and did not seek to reach out when spoken to, they were delightful. I loved the soap, conditioner, and lotion dispensers in the room. You did not have to worry about those little teeny tiny bottles that are insufficient. They also provided you with an extra pillow in the closet.
Disliked: What I did not like is that we picked the most expensive suite because my husband and I have not been out without children for 18 plus years, and according to the website, the suite was the top of the line. The location was perfect when we arrived, so we were thankful for that. The staff were kind, allowing us to check in an hour early, stating our room was clean. Still, when we got to the room, there was a pile of Cheeto crunchy chips on the floor and in plain view by the desk, spilled and dried coffee or soda on the bathroom floor, dirty filth around the drain hole of the sink, and the bed looked as though someone had sat on it or lain on it. So this was a very disappointing thing. Besides the neglect of the room, the furniture would vibrate when you walk by it, making a knocking noise, and the wall where the temperature gauge is would make this horrible banging noise continuously. When we tried to sleep at night, the freezer sounded like it was on its last leg, so we opened it up, and it was frozen over and unable to be used. I guess for $260 for one night, we expected something to be a little bit nicer, but it turned out that the room was pretty average for a cheaper hotel room, even though the aesthetics, like the color of the paint and carpet, etc, look nice on the pictures It wasn't as lovely in real life. I think the thing that bothered my ADHD the most was that the main TV in the bedroom was not centered on the decorative platform. And it wasn't off just a little bit, so it looked very tacky. Also, the extra space in our room, which is claimed to be for business or an addition to the room, is just a small nook with two chairs and a TV. This is not very functional, so we were disappointed with the upgrade to this room, as this is the only thing that differed from the others. The breakfast was mediocre, but the lady working solo did an excellent job and was very kind! She was swamped because the hotel was very crowded in the morning.
