Liked: Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was amazing! Location 12 min walk from Byward Market and Rideau Centre. Clean rooms and hotel.

Liked: It was my first hotel in Ottawa. Inside the hotel was very clean and the interior was so nice. I love it.
Disliked: The hotel was a little far from the subway station.

Not Family-Friendly and Poor Parking...

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast offered a good variety of options.
Disliked: Unfortunately, there were several downsides. Parking was not only paid but also very limited, making it almost impossible to find a spot. The hotel even recommends using a parking lot about a 4–5 minute walk away, but the path to get there passes by a homeless shelter, which felt unsafe, especially for families with children. Carrying luggage through that area was very unpleasant, and the cost of around $20 for 24 hours of parking was frustrating.The swimming pool was also disappointing — very small and cramped, with such a strong chlorine smell that it made our eyes sting and irritated our skin. It didn’t feel like a clean or comfortable environment to swim in. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel for families traveling with kids.

Unforgettable

Liked: The front desk staff provided extremely poor service, which I will never forget. There was no parking space, which was very irresponsible.
Disliked: With such service, there is no need for improvement. Just close it down. There is no need for improvement.
