Disliked: Hot food was empty on both mornings we had to wait 15-20 minutes for food to come out.

Disliked: I had made reservation for special request for handicap accommodation, I was told that room was occupied. The staff trash talked the owner and manager. The hotel was filthy from the parking lot to the reception desk, carpet was saturated with dirt and smell like urine. When we got to our extra large king size room it’s was empty with only a king size bed, one chair, bath tub was filthy with rusted tub. The wall was patched with putty and unpainted. The shower curtain was torn and stained. We went to w Walmart to purchase cleaning supplies and purchased white shower curtain. We didn’t have any towels, my husband asked for towels and he was given blue/white beach towel for our personal care. I begin to cry and couldn’t believe the Holiday Inn Express was that horrific. So we requested a different room and was told we are booked. I asked for a refund to go to another hotel and was told because I had booked through Booking.Com they could not refund my money or change my room. I end up spending over $100 on linen, pillows, coverlets and cleaning supplies. The breakfast was really sad, the attendant served cold frozen eggs patty not completed thawed out, over cooked breakfast turkey patty and stale bread used for toast; oh the coffee was watered down. I over heard another resident say,” what the HELL is this coffee or tea either way it was sad “. I would not recommend this facility to my worse enemy.

Disliked: Rude and indifferent staff. Malfunctioning window shades, and air-conditioning . Had to leave after 1,day.

Disappointing

Liked: Room was clean. Staff and housekeeping were nice.
Disliked: Pool didn't look clean. Almost green and cloudy in color. It was open the first day of check in and closed the next two days. Breakfast was gone by 8:30a. No plates only bowls for food the first morning. No milk for cereal. Coffee was very strong and didn't taste good. Breakfast area tables are wobbly. Couple of them leaning drastically. We didn't bother with breakfast the second morning. Third morning they still had food after 8a. Elevator was very slow and has a musty smell. There's an ice machine on every floor but only two worked. Very disappointed overall with the stay. I have stayed in many other Holiday Inn Express hotels and this one by far was the worst.
