Disliked: The room itself was good, but loud. It sounded like we were under the kitchen. A lot of noise when they were setting up in the morning To be fair there was a sports team with young people who were quite loud.

Disliked: The noise was too much and nothing was done to reduce the noise when I reached out. I couldn’t sleep for the 2 days I was there. No room change offered.

Comfortable and Clean Location, close...

Liked: The location was close to where I needed to be for a celebration I was attending. The room was temperature controlled, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The reception staff was pleasant. I was not able to experience the breakfast but I saw that it included a really nice variety.
Disliked: The AC unit made a squealing noise whenever it reached the desired temperature but we were able to ignore it and it didn’t disrupt our sleep. Guests were not considerate about returning luggage carts, there was not one available either day I stayed there. The lodge/motel next door is not separated by any barriers or fencing so unfortunately there were sketchy guests from there who primarily after dark would come over on foot to the parking area behind the Holiday Inn which is where many of us guests had to park due to limited space in front of the establishment. The first night’s stay I found myself feeling uneasy and getting up in the middle of the night a few times to look out the window facing the back of the Holiday Inn to check on my vehicle hoping that it was not vandalized. I asked the desk reception if there were cameras and was told there were which I saw them mounted but I don’t know if they are active CCTV or actively monitored. During my second day of stay, in the daylight hours, I saw one Fairfax County Police cruiser driving through the back parking lot so that gave me some comfort that maybe they are aware of the concerns and patrol the parking lot for that reason? The value for the stay was overpriced.
