Superb

Peaceful, great quality stay !

Liked: Great hospitality from the staff as soon as we walked in/checked in ! Receptionist was great (both at check in & check out) Housekeeping was wonderful as well ! Property was very close to everything, quiet/felt safe. The room was very spacious & relaxing we kept saying we wished we could’ve stayed longer, but will book again.
Disliked: Wasn’t sure of how to control the air, not much light in the restroom/shower. Normal wear & tear on ceilings & some towels were still stained.

Liked: The location was right across from Statesboro University. The room was well appointed, clean, and big. The AC worked great. The sink and shower were clean, and they had hot water. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. It included hot items (bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits, and gravy). They also offered fresh fruit, yogurt, cinnamon rolls, and cereal. They had everything needed to make your own toast, grits, or oatmeal. They had apple, orange and grape juice, as well as coffee and creamers. The staff were incredible and so very accommodating. We'd gotten there early and they actually had a clean room and checked us in. Since our room was at the end of the hall, Cammie (spelling?) told us we could park at the end of the building and come in the back entrance. Then she brought the luggage rack to our room. She was awesome!!
Disliked: The bathroom door was so large, when opened no one could walk past. Also, when open, the door blocked the refrigerator.

Cold night in May

Liked: Staff was the courteous and friendly. Check in was smooth and professional.
Disliked: There was absolutely no thermostat control in my room. It blasted cold air all night long. It didn't matter if I changed the temp setting - hot or cold, low or high, or off. It always read 64.

A no thrills stay in...

Liked: We liked that this property was so close to downtown Statesboro- within walking distance. The bed was comfortable. We forgot our toothbrushes and we received complementary ones.
Disliked: It seemed like this hotel was trying to do absolutely everything to cut costs. The room smelled like a locker room, I wondered when the filter on the HVAC had been changed last. The battery was low on the thermostat so the room stayed at 63 our whole stay because the wall unit couldn’t communicate with the AC unit (not a cost cutting measure here). The walls in the room were very bare. Not one single photo in the bathroom. It was like a dorm room. The ice machine on the first floor was just off (ok fine), but the water jug in the fitness room was empty. I would probably stay here again, because it was a cheap stay, but next time I’ll expect way less.
