Good Location for a Visit...

Liked: Good location for visitors to Minneapolis/St Paul’s. Breakfast was good and excellent Wi-Fi.
Disliked: No program info on the TV - but not a major issue

Will not be staying at...

Liked: The breakfast was good.
Disliked: Bathroom fan did not work. Room was not cleaned/serviced while we were there. We were asked if we wanted service but the used towels, etc. were not replaced. We had to go to the front desk and ask for clean towels, etc. Bathroom ceiling over shower/tub has what looks like a leak and could be mold.

Disliked: There were kids running around in the hall at 11 p.m., and no staff was choking on those kids.

A generally reliable hotel brand...

Liked: Holiday Inn Express has a good breakfast room and offering. And the parking was good.
Disliked: I've stayed at a number of Holiday Inn Expresses in different cities and this one did not feel up to the standard of the other properties. It could benefit from some updating (carpets, bathrooms, lighting) and we were disappointed that there was no hot tub despite promoting "pool and spa."

Booking was a disaster.

Liked: We booked two rooms and when we got there they had us only booked for one. We booked through booking.com so that turned out to be an issue. However, I've booked many times this way and never had an issue. They put it on us to solve this issue. I called booking.com and let them know of the situation. Seemed helpful. We were then charged for the second room the next day. Still waiting to see if that gets changed. The place itself was ok. I was expecting a little better out of a H.I.E.
