Holiday Inn Express St. Louis Central West End

Mediocre hotel at best. But considering the prices of the other hotels it isn't too bad. I've stayed here twice.

Liked: Easily accessible and close enough to the Pageant for a no hassle trip after the show.
Disliked: Weird smell throughout most of the building.

My stay exceeded expectations. Awesome...

Liked: Staff was really friendly and helpful, especially Jordan. Room was super updated and clean. Comfy bed. Fitness center was well-equipped and maintained. Location was perfect. I was able to just remain parked at the hotel and walk to so many things.
Disliked: Wifi in my room didn't really work. It connected, but was super slow and kept cutting in and out. Just used mobile hot spot. My last night there was also no parking spots left which was frustrating, but front desk person helped me out and just let me park right in front for the night.

Liked: over all all facility is good under renovation but it still very clean

Disliked: Breakfast: Expect from Holiday Inn a hot breakfast, eggs/meat, good protein content & fortifying. The only options here were high sugar content (all cereal options had sugar), pastry, fruit.

Disliked: Breakfast, no bagels with plain cream cheese.. they had peanut butter and jam but I don’t eat that. Bananaa were so green and oranges were dry. All cold breakfast, coffee was so cold and nasty. Eating area was just cleaned up before breakfast and all off the chairs were on top of the table. When I asked cleaning lady to put them down she gave me a look and left. I asked her for it because i haven’t notice hand sanitizer so I had to put my food down and go look for a bathroom… I paid $235 for a room with breakfast, I feel like it all fits in $125.00
