Holiday Inn Express St. Augustine Dtwn - Historic

We arrived at 2:30 in the afternoon which was a little early. The policy states check in is at 3:00. After driving 7 hours we had rather hoped to be able to shower and change clothes and then have a nice dinner in the area before the concert. We ended up coming back to to hotel at 5:00 and the room was still not ready. We had to wait until 5:30 for the room to be ready. The concert started at 6:30. I was not happy with this late check in time and will not stay at Sleep Inn again. I will choose another motel closer to the beach next time.

Location and cleanliness very good,...

Liked: Location and cleanliness were the strengths of this hotel. Breakfast was fair with a few hot offerings. Great water pressure in the shower. One of the housekeepers helped me with an issue; it was much appreciated.
Disliked: We had a room that could be an adjoining room. We could hear noise from the VERY loud neighbors through that door. We had to call one night to get them to be quiet. Bathroom is so small there is no place to set clean clothes while in the shower.

Liked: I enjoyed everything about the property the breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: The noise you can hear everything through the walls.

Liked: Everything was very nice…except for breakfast.
Disliked: Breakfast was mediocre…weird egg white things instead of scrambled and pancake machine produced very small, thin, undercooked “things”.

Disliked: The dogs in the facility. I didn't think you accept pets. I have allergy and it wasn't good.
