Holiday Inn Express Springfield By IHG

The room was smaller than I would have liked and was pretty dirty. There was food on the floor, dirty pillow cases, and hair on the bathroom floor as well - it looked as if it had not been dusted in a long time. Yuck!

Liked: Location.
Disliked: Cleanliness.

Swimming pool next door in...

Liked: It should never have the holiday inn brand, it's misleading, the quality and accommodations was terrible!
Disliked: Dirty hallway floors, the swimming pool is next door in another hotel, I've never seen anything like that, terrible!

Disliked: The check in process was abysmal. They couldn’t find my reservation, lied about me being a “no show” the day before I was to check in. Then called me 2 hours later to see if I was still planning on checking in because I hadn’t arrived yet. Then only had me down for one night and tried to charge a late check out fee for the second day. I tried showing my confirmation & pin # at check-in but was told that wouldn’t help. Also I’m fairly certain that my granddaughter got a case of scabies from the bed.

Disliked: The room smelled like burnt wiring bathroom floor was slick and the shower

Liked: The large king suite had plenty of room for our 2 guests to visit.
Disliked: Rude receptionist upon arrival. Air conditioning was not working but maintenance man was able to fix. It was a cool rainy do so we had to decide if we wanted heat or a/c since we could not have both.
