Liked: Staff were exceeding expectations, very helpful.
Disliked: Restaurant area could have been cleaner, staff seemed overworked, needs another member of staff to keep on top of cleanliness of the area.

Too hot, next to busy...

Liked: Free parking, breakfast was better than most Holiday inns.
Disliked: Extreamy hot rooms, no aircon just a fan, had to leave the window open which was opposite a bypass. Had a very sleepless night.

Great for the price

Liked: Convenient and comfortable for where we were going
Disliked: Could of been cleaner. There was a spillage from a previous guest that was still evident

Avoid if its Summer or...

Liked: Nice room and bathroom, very comfortable bed and quilt.
Disliked: It is a shame there is no ventilation in the bathroom or air conditioning. We appreciated the 2 fans supplied, but A/C should be expected in a room in the 21st century. Breakfast offer is reasonable but the sausages and bacon are very poor quality. White Coffee from the machine tastes very sweet, which I think is down to powdered milk being used. Toby inns offer a similar breakfast for nearly half the price, and still manage to use better quality ingredients and offer more items.

It met my needs but...

Liked: A good location for visiting Southampton General Hospital.
Disliked: No air con in rooms. Overcrowded.

A pleasant hotel with helpful...

Liked: Comfortable rooms with good complimentary WiFi.
Disliked: No air conditioning in rooms. We arrived on a sweltering hot day and our room was very uncomfortable. Fans had been provided which were great but sadly insufficient to cool us down.
