Holiday Inn Express Southampton - M27 J7

Liked: Friendly staff; easy to park; made to feel welcome; nice rooms; good breakfast.
Disliked: None.

Booked a double bed room - had double bed and sofa bed made up so no room to move. They did take it down eventually. Breakfast was called an economical breakfast as they were busy - no fried eggs! Premier Inn is much much better value. Was horrendous - £250 just to sleep. Never again.

Disliked: Breakfast was rubbish, chaotic and didn't look or taste nice.Choice of food for evening was very basic and expensive for what you got.

Liked: We’ve stayed several times before and had no issues. The hotel was always clean and the rooms were comfortable. Breakfast food was great (as it always has been).
Disliked: The cutlery situation at breakfast was terrible, they were always running out. Took a long time for staff to clear tables, seemed to be less staff than usual. Dinner, quite expensive, I ordered macaroni cheese, what I got was pasta in a cheese sauce, definitely not worth the £15.50. The worst part though was having to pay for parking, this cost is an extra £28 during our stay, I would have thought that guests of the hotel would have free parking.
