Holiday Inn Express Shrewsbury

A very pleasant stay.

Liked: We were very pleased overall with our stay, good size room, clean and comfortable. Food was pretty good. Ate in the hotel last night, and found the food was ok. Good breakfast, so no issues from us. Seemed good value for money. Staff were very pleasant.
Disliked: The location was a little difficult to find. The last roundabout on the approach was difficult to negotiate if you didn't know where you were going.

Liked: Good sized room and felt bright. All things that we needed were provided and liked the variety of pillows offered and that they offer to give you basic toiletries if you forgot to bring them, that's a lovely touch!
Disliked: Breakfast could have been improved.

Disliked: Not enough handouts on public transport to and from the hotel.

Liked: staff were all really friendly and professional couldnt have been more helpful and sorted out the issues with our room quickly and efficiently
Disliked: room was double bed not the twin i booked which resulted in me sleeping on a sofa bed towels in the room were dirty , no outside seating which was a shame as it was a glorious day weatherwise

Liked: Exceptional value for money! Room was lovely and spacious and clean, had an amazing night's sleep too, lovely and quiet xStaff were friendly and breakfast was included with a good variety of breakfast items too,
