Liked: The property though old but was very clean. The room lady done a great job! It is next to a tube station, thus very convenient but we could hear the train noise at night while it is still in operation but bearable.
Disliked: It’s difficult to find and confusing with another Holiday Inn nearby. The taxi driver brought us to the wrong Holiday Inn. During breakfast one morning, a lady staff from the breakfast area, hand holding a thong with some black stuff on it, stared and yelled at me ‘WHAT IS THIS’? As I have some vision problem, I move nearer to her to see what was that. It appeared to be a burnt croissant. Apparently someone had put the croissant onto the bread toasting machine. She continued to yell at me until I gave her a blank look did she ask whether the burnt croissant belongs to me? I shake my head and said ‘NO’Perhaps she should checked first (there’s CCTV there) before she came yelling at me in front of everybody at the breakfast area? She may deem racist as I am a Chinese though not from mainland China.

Disliked: Road works making it difficult to access the car park . Parking expensive ubers expensive

Over-all, our stay was excellent

Liked: Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, clean and fresh. The room was enough for two persons, but the bed was slightly too small. The walk in shower/bathroom was great. The location was excellent for public transport, trains and buses.
Disliked: The bed was too small and the walk-in bathroom got a bit flooded and it was a hassle to come out of the bathroom, dragging water onto the carpet. A pen and paper would have been nice to have plus a public transport map for buses and trains would have been helpful.

Disliked: Staff took some of my t-shirts together with towels. Probably by mistake... when I reported to reception. They promised to check, but it all faded into nothingness.
