Holiday Inn Express Orlando-Ocoee East

Just went to Orlando for an event and did not want to drive back to Largo so we picked a Holiday Inn Express because we have had a lot of success with them. We have always stayed at a Holiday Inn Express because of the service - we have not found a bad one in 10 years of traveling.

Liked: Excellent room and fitness room and the breakfast was great as well.
Disliked: No the price was very fair; no problems at all.

Staying in the Orlando area once a year has convinced me that most hotels that are reasonably affordable are dumps. This one greatly exceeded my expectations based upon past experience in this area.

Liked: Nice staff. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: Probably could have used a lower volume of music in the lobby. Maybe a little cleaner.

Disliked: Funky smell, loose flooring, sketchy area, and roach in the bedroom.

Overall my stay was amazing...

Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also the breakfast everyday was awesome.
Disliked: The location it was hard to figure out how to get into the property.

Cannot recommend staying here enough!...

Liked: The property looked updated and well kept. Everything was so clean. When j checked in it was so easy it took only 5 mins. You had to use your key card to get to your floor on the elevator and after a certain time you even have to use your key card to get into the hotel front door. I felt so safe and that truly people who were supposed to be there were the only ones there. Not to mention the complimentary breakfast was actually so yummy! Their coffee machine grinds the beans fresh and brews you a fresh cup. I cannot say how much we loved it here!
Disliked: Maybe that the beds were very firm. I’m used to a little softer but it certainly wasn’t uncomfortable or anything.
