Good hotel in central location.

Liked: Breakfast was great, the hotel was clean and tidy, and the staff were lovely, with a quick and easy check in/out. I also liked that access to the stairs/lifts was controlled with key cards, so it felt safe - good for families when you’re near the city centre on a weekend.The location was ideal for what we wanted, as there is a multi-storey car park next door, and the city centre, Metro Radio Arena, Life Centre museum all in easy walking distance. Would recommend.
Disliked: The size of the room. I understand that city centre real estate is at a premium but this was the smallest room we’ve had in this type of hotel. We had our son with us so the sofa bed was made up when we arrived. The room was so small that there wasn’t space to get to the window to open/close the curtains without clambering over the sofa bed. The placement of it also meant there was no way we could use the dressing table and the only chair in the room (office-type) was pushed against the wall by the end of the dressing table. This meant it was a trip hazard and we all managed to stub our toes on the chair legs while trying to get around the end of the bed. Everything else was great but the room wasn’t really suitable for more than two people.
