It was worth the cost...

Liked: The front desk woman with Brown short hair was so warm and welcoming and responsive. Property was in what seemed like a safe area. Near lots of restaurants and food options, some within walking distance.
Disliked: The housekeeping. They were not consistent and the room had a smell and had hair strands all over. Gross.

Disliked: The room, although advertised on the booking.com website, was absolutely NOT soundproof! (Not even a little bit) every noise from outside the room could heard VERY clearly, even when people were talking in a normal tone. There was so much light at night coming from the hallway through the cracks under the door and around the door that it was hard for us to sleep. Also, there were SEVERAL weird stains/splatters around the toilet area (room 240) that i doumented with photos. And the bedding smelled weird and not fresh. Almost like old man body odor musty smelling pillows. A few stains on the carpet and lots of water damage near the shower area drywall. We ended up cancelling our second night and went to another hotel, which was SPOTLESS and i could smell that the bedding was fresh and clean because of the scent of bleach. We will probably never stat at any Holiday Inn Express after this. I should have known better after getting screwed 2 years ago with your $200 Holiday Inn Club Vacations “deal.” When I tried to cancel it after figuring out that it was for a time share (I was told it would be just a “presentation” about your amazing vacation club properties) I was told sorry, it was non-refundable. maybe I should’ve known better, but I think they could have made an exception. I don’t thin a $19@ refund would have caused them to go bankrupt. So nope, from now on we are sticking with Embassy Suites!
